Our top event agency client is seeking a Venue Sourcing Executive to join their expanding team!

For this role, you will:

  • Source & suggest venues/ destinations to meet a client brief
  • Possess strong negotiating skills
  • Prepare event proposals with accurate costings

This role will see you play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of international business events, managing key administrative tasks, and providing essential support to a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: Assist the Senior International Business and Events Manager in organising and executing both virtual and in-person events. From scheduling webinars to managing delegate registration and on-the-day event support, you'll be integral in ensuring events run smoothly.
  • Administrative Support: Handle daily administrative tasks, ensuring the team's operations are well-organised and efficient. Maintain accurate records in the CRM and assist with document preparation for meetings and events.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings and calls, assisting with the logistics of business delegation visits and other team coordination efforts.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries promptly and managing communication for the department.
  • Research Support: Conduct preliminary research on international markets, trade regulations, and potential business partners, supporting the team in decision-making.
  • Document Preparation: Assist in creating reports, proposals, meeting agendas, and other materials necessary for meetings and events.

 

This role is a fantastic springboard into a corporate events career and will suit someone with office/admin experience who is eager to progress in events. Attention to details is an absolute must and a love of admin as this role is admin heavy! You will gain hands on experience in event management, business development and global trade, all the while being supported as you grow and learn. With this role you will use your experience in the catering industry to plan and deliver unique catering experiences for brand launches, networking events, PR and private events. This role will take you to some incredible places, and work on truly unique, one-of-a-kind experiences!

 

To be successful, you must have some catering experience and a real passion for this part of the event cycle. Experience of the UHNW/ Luxury brand sectors is very beneficial but not essential. Salary £26,500-£28,000 DOE + excellent benefits and bonus (+ a fantastic culture and supportive agency).
