The role involves ensuring all event resources are set per event plan, all activities within the venue operate within the terms and conditions of the premises licence and the client/contractors/staff adhere to the good neighbourhood policy. Responding in a timely and friendly manner to client requests, acting as a Duty Manager in the absence of the Deputy Venue Operations Manager/Venue Operations Manager and at all times keeping the venue and all persons on site safe and secure. The venue is home to many exciting events ranging from exhibitions, fashion shows, product launches and wine tastings to company conferences, antique fairs and examinations.  The successful candidate will have experience of working with clients, agencies, contractors and suppliers in the event venue sector. They will also have worked in the delivery of a wide variety of events for up to 650 people. Candidates will have knowledge of Health & Safety within an events environment, have high standards for service delivery, able to supervise agency staff and hold a personal licence.
