Do you love new business?  I mean really love it?  Is your drive not just getting tat meeting but managing the entire process with your work not being done until pen is on paper?

 

This opportunity will allow you to build this agency's BD structure and strategy pretty much from scratch … Sounds good?  You're too right it does - if the nuts and bolts below scream at you then I want to speak with you!

 

You will lead on new business from pipeline and lead generation right through to pulling together pitch and proposal documents and winning the business.  You'll have a proven track record in developing and winning new business, you'll understand the event industry inside out and you'll be able to bring your own spark to this awesome group of people.  You'll be empowered to lead this process, be encouraged to build this new area of the business and be given plenty of opportunities to grow and develop with the agency.

 

We are the only people working on this and they're not advertising it so hopefully can find some goodies for it!  Pharma experience not essential but has to pure BD not someone who has done it bit part before as they are building this function from scratch.

The role will see you working with the Head of Marketing ensuring that a programme of high quality and effective events are delivered as part of the marketing strategy. Events tend to be a  mix of networking, corporate hospitality, receptions, dinners & other corporate events and you will be responsible for venue finding, logistics, negotiating contracts, going onsite where necessary, managing the invite process, managing timelines,  and event budgets. You will also work closely with the Head of Marketing on event ideas & strategy.
