Must haves for this role are:

  • Circa 5/6 years experience in the events industry with a willingness to travel globally

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Yard Manager to join an established design and build company who deliver bespoke projects for an enviable list of clients in the events world. The company provides full scale fit outs including customized hard-walling, fabrication, furniture, staging, lighting etc within a design consultancy framework.

 

Given the specialist materials and services the company provides it is seeking an individual familiar with such an environment. This role will work closely with Project Managers on the individual requirements of each job to manage the specification, including build oversight. Candidates will therefore have an understanding of scenic (basic wood working), fabrication and finishing (painting). Candidates should also be experienced in managing stock in a warehouse capacity including regular maintenance of equipment and materials where appropriate.

 

This is a full time position based at the company's offices in the beautiful Hampshire/Sussex borders. In the main working hours will be 8am-5pm Mon to Fri with the occasional requirement to be on site for event delivery.

 

Candidates will possess a full UK drivers license and ideally a forklift drivers license.

We are working with a prestigious association (private equity/financial services) who have been acting on behalf of the private equity and venture capital community for 40 years. They are a great team who pride themselves on their collaborative, welcoming and friendly culture. They are on the lookout for a confident and proactiveEvents Senior Executive. You will take real ownership of a varied and dynamic events portfolio-from intimate breakfast roundtables to high-profile corporate dinners and forums.

 

In this role, you'll lead end-to-end delivery of around 15 events each year, working closely with venues, suppliers, speakers and internal teams to ensure every detail is spot on. You'll have the freedom to bring your ideas, creativity and organisational flair to each project, while playing a key part in how they engage and connect their diverse community of private equity and venture capital members. If you enjoy juggling multiple projects and building strong relationships you'll fit right in.

We are looking for circa 3 - 5 years events experience withing the corporate or association sector. You will have strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a sharp eye for detail. Being a strong communicator is key as you will be dealing with multiple stakeholders at every level and you will ideally have line management experience too as there is 1 x direct line report into this role (an events assistant). You'll be supported by an encouraging team (8 in the events team) and a culture built on inclusivity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a fantastic events team, taking the lead across a diverse portfolio of predominantly B2B events.

 

You'll work across a varied mix of projects, including incentive programmes, conferences, activations and more, delivering events both across the UK and internationally. The team operates primarily remotely, with regular meet-ups at their London office approximately every couple of weeks. You'll therefore need to be within a reasonable commuting distance, as well as being comfortable travelling to events as and when required.

Senior Event Operations Executive

A leading DMC specialising in creating bold, bespoke and unforgettable experiences is looking for a Senior Event Operations Executive to join their busy London team. You'll support the Operations team across a wide range of high-end corporate events and programmes, with plenty of opportunity to get involved in the action both in the office and on-site.

 

You'll be coordinating attendee tour logistics, booking guides and transport, building and managing registration websites, communicating directly with attendees, analysing booking data and preparing key event documentation. You'll also have the opportunity to support client events, FAM trips and site inspections, represent the company at industry events and work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

The ideal candidate will have a couple of years' corporate events experience within a DMC, agency or hotel,  alongside excellent attention to detail, strong IT/data skills (managing large amounts of attendee data will be a big part of the role)  and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

We are looking for an experienced event professional ideally with an event agency or DMC background to join a lovely, growing events team that works with great clients and run a wide variety of event programmes -  particularly incentives (both large and small bespoke), across the UK. Sound interesting?

You will need to have an enthusiastic/positive attitude, be able to multi-task, manage and keep to deadlines, be confident and a strong communicator. Experience of managing high end events - from proposal to delivery - including management of suppliers (caterers, production, florists etc) essential. You will be comfortable managing large budgets (£500K+) and will be adept at analysing client briefs,  writing compelling proposals and project plans. Similarly, you will work with the team to come up with creative ideas, innovative concepts and unique touches to enhance operations.
