As a Senior Project Manager you will be at the heart of their operations - delivering medium to large scale events that inspire, engage, and leave lasting impressions. You'll manage every detail from proposal/pitch stage to onsite delivery, supported by an ambitious and creative team that turns ideas into reality. You'll take ownership of your projects, collaborating with top-tier clients, venues, and suppliers across the UK and internationally. Whether it's a complex conference, a dynamic product launch, or a global incentive trip, you'll ensure every event runs seamlessly. You will be responsible for managing and developing your own client accounts (broad range of sectors). This role will have 1 (potentially two) direct line reports (PM and SPE level).

 

We are looking for a confident, client focussed events professional with solid end to end delivery experience in an agency environment (6 years would be ideal). You'll bring solid experience in delivering large scale corporate events (in an agency environment),  experience in managing medium to large project times and ideally some team management experience too. Our client is an agency (client sector is mainly associations)  who are expanding and due to this growth they are searching for a CONFERENCE MANAGER who thrives on creating unforgettable experiences in the membership association sector.

This role will see you:
 - Design, manage, and deliver a portfolio of exciting in-person, virtual, and hybrid events - mainly large scale conferences with exhibitor/sponsor elements
 - Act as the primary contact for clients-understanding, advising, and exceeding their expectations every step of the way
- Take charge of budgeting, ensuring every event runs smoothly, on time, and within budget

  • Engage with suppliers, venues, and AV teams to create standout events
  • Work with the design team on event branding
  • Oversee event marketing strategies that excite attendees, drive registrations, and attract sponsors

 Who You Are:

- Event specialist: You come with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in managing events, ideally in an agency environment  but all background considered if you have the end to end delivery experience
  -  Exhibition & sponsorship management: experience in this is essential and a nice to have would also be knowledge of abstracts, & committee experience
