This role will see you lead a dynamic programme of 30-40 conferences, lectures, webinars, and roundtables each year, bringing together ministers, diplomats, business leaders, academics, and work with leading global tech companies and financial services institutions. This is a role where you'll be at the centre of international dialogue and collaboration - with the chance to make your mark on events that truly matter.

 

You will oversee every stage of delivery - from shaping event concepts and securing venues to managing logistics, budgets, suppliers, and on-the-day execution. You'll run both in-person and virtual/hybrid events, organise travel and accommodation, liaise with high-profile speakers, and ensure smooth delivery across formats and time zones. You'll also work closely with sponsors and partners, ensuring objectives are met and relationships strengthened, while mentoring and managing an Events Assistant to support the programme.

 

This role is ideal for someone with proven events expertise in delivering a wide variety of events at scale (probably 2nd or 3rd role). This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned events professional who thrives on delivering complex events (mainly high-profile booth build/stand build exhibition projects but also end to end events too e.g. conferences, receptions, launches). from concept to completion. You'll be responsible for the full project lifecycle-leading timelines, coordinating internal and external teams, managing budgets, and ensuring every event runs seamlessly, on time, and within budget. As the primary point of contact for clients, your ability to communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and anticipate challenges will be key to your success. The client base is primarily pharma and the projects are global so if you are keen to travel then consider this box ticked!

 

Experience in supplier negotiation, client liaison, on-site logistics, and the confidence to make key decisions independently are essential to thriving in this position. Solid agency experience is an essential requirement (ideally delivering stand/booth build projects but not a deal breaker as long as you have senior end to end delivery experience of large scale/complex events) as is a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Pharma experience is ideal but not necessarily a deal breaker. In return, you'll join a supportive and ambitious team, where your ideas, experience, and input will help shape unforgettable experiences and drive the continued success of their growing business.

Their office is in Shoreditch and they really value working/collaborating as a team, with this their "status quo" is 5 days a week with flexi time, the details of which I can talk you through.

Salary wise they can be flexible depending on your experience but as a guide will be looking  around the £35k - £45K level.
