Global Head of Conference Operations

We are currently looking for an experienced Global Head of Conference Operations to join an impressive Commercial Conferencing company based in London. In this 15 month contract, you will be responsible for growing and developing the hybrid portfolio of international events, making key strategic decisions, team management and recruitment, process and policy development, negotiating of key contracts to support the operational delivery of events and making logical commercial and operational decision. Where required you will also be hands on with one or two larger conferences - so this person must be happy to do so.  Experience within a commercial conferencing environment is essential for this role; as is experience at this senior, strategic, decision making level. This role offers a London based office/ WFH split, with a salary of £55-65k DOE + Bonus.

Senior Operations Manager

Our leading commercial conferencing client is looking for a commercially minded, successful Senior Operations Manager to join their team delivering international conferences! This is a fantastic role which will see you logistically delivering hybrid & live international conferences, where you will advise on locations from a commercial & operational perspective, be responsible for contracting and negotiating, work closely with internal teams (conference production/ sales/ marketing/ sponsorship) including advising of commercial opportunities from an operational perspective, manage budgets up to £1m, take ownership for end to end logistics including sponsorship deliverables, mentor junior members of the team (line management opportunities in the future) and be onsite internationally for delivery. You must also be able to confidently speak with sponsors, speakers, up to C suite level delegates and SLT.  Experience with digital events, exhibition floorplans, and an additional language would be amazing, but not essential!

Fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious global event management agency who are looking for a positive and proactive Project Coordinator to satisfy the on-going needs of the company's clients. Working within their digital department to support the Digital Team and the Event Management Team in the professional, effective and efficient management of digital projects, your responsibilities will include day to day management and supervision of Event Administrators on digital projects, assisting with live online meetings, alongside the rest of the Digital and Event Management teams, coordinating with clients, presenters and managers to develop digital content for meetings and events (e.g. recording sessions, remote recording, animation, infographics etc.) and assisting on-site at events, especially those with specific technical requirements (e.g. hybrid meetings, events with apps etc.). This role will be suitable for someone who is passionate about technology  has an understanding of audio-visual requirements and event-based technology and has the ability to work on multiple events whilst retaining a sense of humour and team spirit. We are looking for a fantastic Project Director with experience of international delivery, to join our growing events agency client. This is a great role where you will have project ownership of medium - large scale exhibition stand builds, brand conferences, product launches and brand events. Working closely with the Account Management team to understand requirements (hybrid/ live), you will pull together project plans, deadlines, team allocations, budgets (up to £1.5m), supplier negotiations, end to end logistics and onsite for international delivery. You will be working on a range of events at once, but always with the support of the agency behind you! Experience with pharmaceutical and or technology clients is essential.

With a focus on experiential events and exhibitions, your responsibilities will include, working closely with relevant design and production team heads as well as third party suppliers in developing timelines and running projects, developing project proposals and new business development presentations, creation & management of complex budgets and building strong client relationships. This role will be suitable for someone with experience of digital projects (e.g. app development, AR, VR or interactive digital activations) has a strong team ethic with a positive can do attitude, and who is extremely organised and pro-active with good interpersonal skills. This role also requires some international travel for periods of up to 2 weeks, although the majority of travel will be in Europe.
